Karma's first appearance was in "Marvel Team-Up 100" where she took on Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four by herself. She later joined New Mutants and left after about 10 issues. I guess Claremont realized having a "rookie" on the roster who could solo the X-Men was a problem 😅
