A first trip to Cove

Nearly 8 years since Amaia tried one of these great beach buggies in North Berwick- still thinks they’re brilliant (as are the charity-#BeachWheelChairs ) - even if it was a bit chilly today

Wow today weather in Dunbar, Spott & North Berwick

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

Fair play to Harvard. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... I hope this goes well for them. Not any easy thing to do when faced with a bully who doesn’t seem to care the damage he does to try and get his own way (however I’ll judged)

Beautiful day in Leeds

None of this seems ideal, but possibly might form a feedback loop. Although a feedback loop only works if something in place effective enough to use/control the feedback. A 77 year old controller with prior experience of faults used as a single point of failure in key system would seem poor design

what a visual

A morning is frost, sun & birdsong

Another lovely evening- gardens spoilt for blossom this year 🌱 (celebrating fitting a new water butt- not in rush for any rain to fill it)

Alternative family photo

Cut the bay tree 🌱 back in front garden to make a bit more space Used it as a chance to make Madeira Espetada which use bay leaf skewers. Pleased with both.

Wife’s away, and what am I doing? It seems eating pizza and watching a man from Leeds talk about his garden of delphiniums on Gardens world. I mean my mum would have been proud, just perhaps not my younger self!

🤣

😆

blooming good morning 🌱

New raised beds ready to go. Strawberry runners in before dark (just) - they’re in there somewhere…🌱

Great bird song this morning

Before the rain🌱

Dog & Duck

Sun & frost this morning 🌱

New planters taking shape… (mostly from reclaimed timber). Hoping that this bodes well for crops this year…🌱
