'Did you even say thank you?'

Unsurprisingly, this petition is racing at pace. 👇👇

This is what Marks & Spencer are associating with by advertising on GB News. Take action: actionstorm.org/petitions/ma...

I think this is the closest many of us have ever got to seeing the real Trump. The only consistent thread in his entire unhinged rant was the love & praise for Vladimir Putin. Zelensky has more courage & dignity in his little finger than every member of Trump's regime & fan club combined.

Selfish and shortsighted. What a missed opportunity to signal the value and trust Wales deserves. www.bbc.com/news/article...

I've been a type 1 diabetic for 47 yrs. In that time the search for a cure has progressed hugely but remained elusive. Today, there are so many companies really close to a cure. All would benefit from sharing their research but won't. Remind me again what a wonderful thing capitalism is. #t1d

An amazing *8,000* people have now used their free speech to ask Marks & Spencer to pull their ads from GB News. Free speech is for everyone, not just for billionaire-backed TV channels 👏👏👏 actionstorm.org/petitions/ma... #StartSpreadingLove #StopFundingHate

Rang Marks & Spencer last week to register my complaint...

Repost this with the first album you bought with your own money.

The orange manbaby's first month in office has been one rattle-shaking tantrum after another. Laughable... If I weren't so close to the nappyful of a shitshow.

Terrence Higgins Trust founder Martyn Butler is asking everyone to call M&S & urge them to pull their ads from GB News 👏👏👏 You can take action by leaving a friendly message on M&S Customer service: 0333 014 8000 asking them to #StopFundingHate

🔴‘Wales Is Leading the Way on Ending Lying in Politics. Westminster Must Now Do the Same’ The Welsh Government looks set to impose bold new restrictions on lying in politics. It’s time for Westminster to follow suit, argues Jennifer Nadel bylinetimes.com/2025/02/19/w...

Watched the Oscar nominated film, Emilia Pérez, on the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite all the furore surrounding it, it's a moving and thought provoking story.

More than £120 for a quick snap and a shake of a Johnson? Seems a bit steep... www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

When I heard this, I rushed out to panic buy Pot Noodle, Angel Delight and 2 litres of cream soda... just in case. Shit, I forgot candles and loo roll! www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

It's absurd that Starmer agreed to lock the vital announcement that he's willing to send British troops to Ukraine to bolster a peace deal behind the Telegraph's paywall. But since it is so important, here's a link that bypasses it so that you can read it for yourself. archive.ph/2025.02.16-2...

JD Vance lectures Europeans on free speech & democracy, when in the US journalists are denied access to the White House for refusing to say 'Gulf of America',scientists are denied funding for mentioning climate change and the President tried to overturn the result of an election

Thank goodness there's still at least one Labour MP who understands that trying to outdo Reform in the immigration performative cruelty circus is not an acceptable way to behave. (Unfortunately it doesn't mean that she will influence policy enough for them to back down and reconsider.)

We didn't vote for Reform lite. We don't want Reform lite. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

@teamlabouruk.bsky.social Hi. I didn't vote for you for you to do this. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

On 22 January, GB News presenter Josh Howie repeated a homophobic slur linking the LGBTQ+ community to paedophilia. This is offensive, wrong and unlawful. Join me and @GoodLawProject to file a complaint to Ofcom  action.goodlawproject.org/ofcom-stop-g...

Closer economic ties with the European Union will boost UK growth by up to 2.2%. Brexit has inflicted huge harm. Must rejoin EU. Better to build closer ties with the EU than bowing to the unhinged man in the White House. archive.ph/1lyUW

This is my bid to be ABofC. As an atheist, I'd bring objectivity to the rôle. I'd extend Dragged to Church to all parishes & I'd insist that communion offers alternative drinks and cocktails to wine. And let's face it, Lambeth Palace is handy for town. Your vote counts! news.sky.com/story/public...

About 30 years ago, I saw David Tennant nude but never noticed his polydactyly. In my defence, I was in row J at the the Lyttelton at the National Theatre. metro.co.uk/2025/02/03/d...

"Jordan is ready to declare war on Israel" Trump's 'peace' plans are going about as well as you would expect, given his grasp of complexity. The US and Israel are now isolated together, against the world, in the eyes of the world.

"A YouGov poll on 21 January asked ‘Who would you rather have as a closer trading partner to the UK…?’ Of all adults, 53% said the EU, and 21% said the US. The younger you were, or if you were a woman, the more likely you were to say the EU. Even 20% of Reform UK supporters said the EU!"

Trump just getting aggressive with UK, EU, everyone. Everyone is “outta line” But UK can be bullied easily, thinks Trump. And, frustratingly he’s probably right (thanks to Brexit).

“I had that actress from the 1950 film “Odette” in the back of my cab once” “Anna Neagle?” “No, she was on her own”

All UK parties (except Conservatives, marginally) have voter bases that prefer proportional representation over first-past-the-post.

Trump can't beat the whole world. If Canada, Mexico, the EU, the UK and maybe even China agreed to united and coordinated action against US tariffs, he would have to back down. The only way to vanquish the biggest bully in the playground is by assembling overwhelming numbers.

Must watch interview. Ed Davey calls for a customs union with the EU to grow the UK economy And Laura Kuenssberg ends up making the case for why the UK should be in a customs union with the EU, without realising it 🤷‍♂️ This is a gold standard interview by @eddavey.libdems.org.uk 👏 Part 1 of 7
