with casting (almost) grown people as Ghani and Leto, I guess we’ll just jump over the Messiah part of Dune: Messiah and get going with Children. which also means we’re that much closer to GEoD

I'm doing a bit of research into the faufreluches class system. the source material is a bit sparse: the term is mentioned in only 4 of the 25 Dune books: the original Dune, Children of Dune, the Encyclopedia and Dune: House Harkonnen (from the EU)
