This is Great Egret #10, who we (Audubon Canyon Ranch) put a GPS tag on in the fall of 2018 here on Tomales Bay in California. He has been on some great adventures, including a flight down to Mexico, but these days he stays here in Tomales Bay. #birds #ornithology

At 0700 this morning, the moon was setting on Tomales Bay, Marshall, CA, and one of the oyster boats was headed out to their shellfish lease.

A Peregrine Falcon was stirring up the shorebirds yesterday morning at Abbott's Lagoon, Point Reyes National Seashore. Mixed flock of Dunlin, Sanderling, Western Sandpipers, and a few Least Sandpipers.
