We need to think long-term, and I don’t think China will do anything but manipulate us, and we need to believe in the US system and the millions of Americans out there who will vote this madman out. I believe America and Americans are our natural allies, and I believe we’ll be good allies again.

We’ve needed to look inward for our defence for a long time tbh - and I’m glad this has shaken us enough to do so (though I’d hoped Trump’s last term - and the invasion - would have made us faster to act here). I just hope we can do so quickly and in a united sense.

I’m sick of our continent’s security being part of a bizarre dick-waving contest/business deal combo, while we’re spurned, belittled & disregarded by a nation that was once one of our greatest allies. We’ve proudly fought with & for the US & are being treated like this. It’s hard not to feel bitter.
