The first concentration camps in Germany were established after Adolf Hitler's became chancellor in 1933. The Storm Troopers and police established camps beginning in February 1933. These camps were set up to handle the masses of people arrested as alleged political opponents. 44000 camps.

Good morning from our new home in Colorado where the community looks out on the Garden of the Gods. Not bad for two old folks downsizing to be closer to children and grandchildren. Away from the madness near DC a little bit, although I will miss the good people there and the cherry blossoms.
