Ja, knapp über 20% für die AfD sind ein schlimmes Ergebnis. Dennoch: 80% der Wählenden haben dem Faschismus dieser Partei keine Stimme gegeben. Im europäischen Vergleich ist das ein hoher Wert - und das trotz eines von rechtsaußen dominierten Migrationswahlkampfs. Sollte man nicht ganz vergessen.

Das Gute in dieser Katastrophe: Die Ukraine ist drei Jahre später trotz turbulenten Phasen viel einiger als ich es mir hätte denken können, Selenskyj wächst unter Druck von Trump noch einmal über sich hinaus und bekommt dafür zu Recht Rückendeckung. Totgesagte leben länger.

This by the way is an excellent point. First, there really aren’t many if any jobs that are “unskilled.” Because you have to be able to do the job to be paid. (Of course there are a lot of sloppy workers and incompetents, but they are at least as common in “skilled” occupations.)
