The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025. This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

Great blog post from my team on VBS ecnlaves! techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microso...

Hello 4090

I’m doing my first project (TCG log parser in Rust) where I’m having AI generate a significant portion of the code, and I’m very torn.

great to see Arsenal playing like that today. Ødegaard was so good, and I can’t wait to see what we do with Nwaneri

Super proud to be part of a team collaborating with the security org on this key feature to protect administrator access. 🤘

@markrussinovich.bsky.social and I are Chicago official now.

Microsoft is also "gradually moving functionality from C++ implementation to Rust" in Windows to help secure the OS. It's part of a new Windows Resiliency Initiative www.theverge.com/2024/11/19/2...

the Microsoft Ignite audience seems happy with the new Windows administrator protection feature. It’s a good change that only temporarily grants admin rights for system changes or app installs www.theverge.com/2024/11/19/2...

I’m really leaning into the Chicago experience.

We have some big news in Windows security to share today at 2:30 (also streaming) with Pavan, Aidan, Navjot and friends from CISA @boblord.bsky.social and Jack Cable ignite.microsoft.com/en-US/sessio...
