Another Irish summer’s day here in Oshawa.

"In his bold and insightful The Decline and Fall of the Human Empire, paleontologist Henry Gee presents a sobering vision of humankind’s future, as intriguing as it is unsettling." Read the #ScienceBooks Review: scim.ag/3RcF5tO

I'm a big fan of the Expanse books so I was excited to start into this. About 50 pages in and it's not grabbing me yet. Fingers crossed it'll pick up #reading #sci-fi #booksky #books

I love Calvin and Hobbes.

Wrapped this up yesterday. It’ll never be a favorite read but it’s a well-written and pretty well-constructed “descent into dystopia” novel where you really do feel that the central character is a “different person” by the end of the story—not something every writer does well. Four and a half stars.

A morning Sooshi-cat.

A little lunchtime browsing at Oshawa Value Village netted these. I read The Wasp Factory years ago but the others are new to me. Anyone read any of these? #book #reading #sci-fi #booksky
