The Fires of Heaven done. I have weird feelings about this book. On the one hand, the whole Cairhien sequence is fantastic from every POV, the Aiel, as ever, are a delight, and Mat solidifies himself as best boy. On the other, the climax ends with maybe my least favourite trope ever, and I hate it.
