Today would’ve been my little brother’s birthday. I say “would’ve” because Rory was a victim of America’s gun violence epidemic. He wasn’t out committing crimes, he wasn’t trying to be a hero, it wasn’t even some unfortunate accident—he was killed by a stranger for no reason at all.

I've pre-ordered this and everyone else should too!! The stories from his life that Dylan told on the bird app (back when it was good) were heartbreaking, hilarious, surreal, and gut-punching. He has a true gift for writing, and I can't wait to read this in the summer 🤩
