This handy 18th century cure for the King’s Evil (i.e. scrofula) argues that ‘Mice roasted, and eaten by Children, is very good’

Why aren't there dolphins on Only Connect?

For the worst first line prize: 'As the facts of the case were glozed, and my eyes began to glaze, even though once those same facts would have made my stomach turn, over, I began to worry that I was falling, even as PC Cartwright came up from, and pinched me on my pert little, behind.'

Elf on a what now?

Somehow, I can't imagine David Suchet doing this!
