I agree that it’s an addiction cycle, if not drug abuse necessarily. Lots of self-bargaining, deferring the “comedown”, contempt for each other’s needs and comfort.

For those that don't know InternetNZ is the organisation that owns the .nz domain name registrar and uses the funds generated for advocacy and a big chunk of New Zealand internet-related policy development.
Having it fall under TPU control could be very bad.
