This man will be responsible for setting back healthcare and medical research 100 years or more. Working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the past 36 years, I have personally seen so many amazing advances in medicine. This will come to a complete halt under this anti-vaxer.

These are the vaccination rates of kindergartners by state. It takes 95% coverage of MMR vaccine to prevent measles outbreaks & most states are not achieving it. I fear that under the new administration rates will drop even further and we will start to see preventable illness, disability, and death

Measles requires 95% vaccination rates for herd immunity. It has a 16.2% case fatality rate for unvaccinated children under 5 years and 24% for children under 9 months (who are unable to be vaccinated). 30% of the survivors experience severe complications like blindness, deafness, or encephalitis.

This is just a reminder of our past when, in 1952, before the vaccination, polio at its height caused over 3000 deaths and 21,000+ cases of paralysis. It may come to this again if JFK has his way to do away with vaccinations.
