Day 21: Best Character Customization I suppose Halo: Reach's armor customization? Extremely modular in terms of the level of customization control, and I think this has my favorite armor artstyle in the series (utilitarian, used, fits better with the darker story).

Day 20: Easiest Final Boss Fight I've never thought about this before. I guess maybe something like MOTHER 1's Giygas boss fight? The real challenge is the gauntlet on Mt. Itoi beforehand, the actual fight is just sing + heal. Cool fight story-wise but the series isn't known for hard final bosses.

Day 19: Favorite Game Mechanic Trying to not repeat the same games; I'm gonna go with MOTHER 3's extremely entertaining rhythm battle mechanic of attacking in beat with the music. Makes combat engaging, allows you to focus on the music, & is a neat way to increase skill ceiling. It's just pure fun.

Day 18: Worst Minigame I don't think I play too many minigames, or games with them? Regardless, kid me has absolutely awful memories of Super Mario Galaxy's Garbage Dump Bob-omb missions (especially Dreadnought Galaxy's) so it wins by default (though a lot of Sunshine frustrates me more nowadays)

Day 17: Favorite Cinematic Extremely late on this one. I'm not sure if it counts since it's technically interactive, but I gotta go with the original (and in my opinion true) ending to Rain World. I'm not gonna share images, but it blew me away. Wow. Need to play The Watcher at some point.

If there's a running theme in my more critical posts, it's that tonal whiplash is the worst thing a story can do, & GTA IV's got it in spades. Day 14: Favorite Class or Fighting Style Not sure how to answer this. I guess if we're talking Smash, then swordies (Marth) or zoners (Lucas). But honestly when it comes to Smash, it's more "how much I gel with the char themselves" than their style. I don't play games competitively anymore though.

Day 13: Best Voice Acting Red Dead Redemption 2 wins out here just by sheer talent & breadth; Roger Clark's Arthur is a GOAT-tier performance. IMO not a perfect game/story but the VAs really elevate it. Besides that, I dunno... Disco Elysium is closest, & Portal 2, Halo, Psychonauts are good shouts.

On the Delfino Airstrip in Super Mario Sunshine, there is a Strollin' Stu that is doomed to walk off the pier and die 14 seconds after the level loads. However, by moving quickly enough, it is possible to reach him before this happens and divert him from his path, saving him.
