I think this is good. That 4% is painful on top of state and federal. We should be easing the burden for folks. I won’t qualify, but I want other people’s lives to be made better when possible.

I wish people understood how student loans accrue interest. I think there’s just a giant misunderstanding about “you borrow it, you pay it back.” Which on principle sounds fine and reasonable. But the interest rates compound and bury people before they even have a chance to repay.
