I’m at a bit of a crossroads with social media - even BluesSky, which is, for the time being, comparatively pure. I feel a pressure to lean into a single piece of myself to consistently foster engagement, but it’s not fulfilling. It’s time to just be me. If people like that, great. If not 🤷‍♂️

I’ve only played an hour of the Silent Hill 2 Remake, but I’m really enjoying it. I like that it plays with the my expectations, showing me things that are very familiar and then doing something different. The enemies feel threatening, too. #horrorgame #horror 🧵

Silent Hill 2 is one of my favorite games. Playing it was a core experience of my teenage years, proving games could tackle mature subject matter. The remake unlocks tonight at 11pm, but I’ll be waiting until tomorrow to play—getting up before sunrise to enjoy it in at least an hour of darkness.
