In this podcast @edbatesechr.bsky.social , @drandrewforde.bsky.social and @cahillrip.bsky.social discuss the relationship between Russia and the @coe.int www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hyu2...

The @coe.int Parliamentary Assembly elected three new judges of the European Cout of Human Rights: Vahe Grigoryan for Armenia, Vasilka Sancin for Slovenia and Canolic Mingorance Cairat for Andorra. The election of Slovenian Judge also means that we will soon have a new president of the Court.

One of our editors just recorded this podcast on Russia’s expulsion from the @coe.int

Our newest paper is by professor @tobiaslock.bsky.social who considers how EU accession to the European Convention will change the latter. Really interesting paper which will form a part of our upcoming special issue on EU accession to the ECHR. brill.com/view/journal...

Our third summer school on the law of the @coe.int will take place in Liverpool in July. Please apply and join us to discuss the Strasbourg system with leading academics and practitioners. www.liverpool.ac.uk/law/research...

Thank you all for following us. We wanted to introduce ourselves as some of you might not know who we are. We are an academic journal and here we will be informing you about new research that we publish and about other ECHR related news. We are independent from the @coe.int.

If you have not seen it yet - please check our latest issue from 2024. It contains excellent articles and case comments including a set of editorials on admissibility in climate change cases: brill.com/view/journal...
