Plenty of spots have already reached over 100 km/h southerly winds, with things picking up in the lower North Island this morning and remaining strong throughout the day💨💨 The strongest of the winds look to ease by tomorrow morning (but still remaining breezy!)

Staying with my friend at her MILs farm. It's nice and all that but turns out MIL requests a $100/n koha. It's vaguely irritating as this is probably the only maori word or custom I've ever heard MIL use (sits on the table, puts an s at the end maori etc)
