Spot on. A few more tips. Old folks. Get out of the way. Stop playing the seniority "it's my turn" card. Stop holding the 20-30 somethings back. Stop believing "no one else can win but me." Give them the money and committee seats they need. And yes, it's time to become the "eat the rich" party.

My theory is dems are trying to go back to a Bill Clinton practicality of capturing the center, which they believe will result in future electoral success. It's a combination of the gerontocracy's and monied interests' behind the scenes influence, IMHO. And it's a shame, because America
