The perfect dessert doesn't exi...

I'm going to toss this out again. St. Albert the Great is making a donation to a drama program that volunteered at our last fish dinner, and we would love to partner with your youth organization. Get a group to work at our dinner, we'll make a donation to your org. Plus, youth volunteers eat free.

This is the PERFECT Hollywood to Broadway transition.

Hey I just met you and I'm a whale But here's my number So call me, Ishmael

Today I opened up Bluesky in an incognito window and saw a "pure" Discover tab. In the first 44 posts, 33 were from 22 different men or people who appeared to be men. There were 11 posts from 10 groups/organizations or anonymous individuals. Finally, post number 45 was from a woman. Seems imbalanced

Do you have a youth organization in the Twin Cities that would like to raise some money? If you bring a group of kids to volunteer at a fish dinner, St. Albert's will make a donation to your group. Great for sports, drama, scouts, 4-H, etc. DM me for details. Youth eat free the night they volunteer.

Post a warning

See a Doc, Post a Doc.

Look, I'm sorry, but I really hope that frying potatoes in tallow doesn't become a Nazi signifier. I only make french fries at home once or twice a year, but I always use tallow, because they are sooooo good.

tbh, I didn't think Canada would be able to launch such a vigorous response.

The problem with covers of Pink Pony Club is that the original is perfect. That said, the Rick Astley version is certainly worth a listen.

I don't believe it's posted yet, but St. Albert the Great is hiring a maintenance person. I don't know all the details, but it should include, custodial, basic maintenance, room setup, snow removal (sidewalk and stairs, not plowing), and coordination with contractors. (1/3)

Read the room, siren.

We have a new copier at work, and it's got that new copier smell. I didn't even know that copiers came with a new copier smell.

Person with big brain makes quick trip to Asian grocery store to pick up a few staples during Spring Festival. News at 10.

No cheating. Your last saved celebrity pic is your therapist. I guess the good news is that mine actually has some experience. I'm pretty sure that's where the good news ends.

I trust that my daughter is enjoying her last day of the long weekend working at a YMCA camp.

I was moved watching the videos tonight from people saying goodbye. For me, it's just a silly little app that I ignore for months and occasionally binge. But it's so clearly important to other people who've made meaningful connections there. Such a stupid, petty decision.

And...it's gone.

If Houston ends up with more snow on the ground than Minneapolis, I'm going to be pissed. Probably not as pissed as the people in Houston, though.

This is the face of a cat whose life is about to be turned upside down (his sparkly covered sitting spot is about to be taken away).

Minneapolis folks - I know it's a longshot, but I'm going to try. Someone found a phone near St. Albert the Great in Longfellow and turned it into the office. There's no emergency contact info. If you or someone you know lost a phone in that area recently, call the office at 612-724-3643.

What's up Halifax!?! Happy New Year!

Cozy Christmas cat.

Merry Chrismukkah to all who celebrate.

My Christmas radio brought up "Mary, Did You Know," and honestly it feels a lot like what happens when a female subject matter expert posts on social media.
