I love D.

I had many a wet and windy #StetWalk over the past week. Then this.

A

And on the eleventh day there was light.

A new #StetRead, via an interlibrary loan. #editing

We have a #StetWalk, but do we have a #StetRead? I couldn’t wait till the end of my working day to finish this book by @andreamara.bsky.social. Such a clever story, with many twists and turns.

How easy it is when #editing to catch an earworm. I didn’t even need to look at this page. I was on my way to another.

A foggy #StetWalk this evening. Ponies, noisy overhead swans, slippy roads, the moon, Jupiter and Venus all featured.

I missed a #StetWalk yesterday – a strong wind with horizontal sleet did not entice me out of my office. But all week I wrapped up and enjoyed the weather. The night skies were amazing.

Getting closer …

Whimsical was mine

It’s #AlphabetChallenge #WeekAforAngles. The girl has been practising.

My #StetWalk today involved volunteering at our New Year #parkrun. The sun came out for the first time in many days.

Today I didn’t even see my desk, but I’ll call this little walk during a detour on a drive a #StetWalk anyway. Glencar, Co. Leitrim, close to Ben Bulben, Co. Sligo.

It’s a while since I felt such tension in moving from the genre of a book I’ve just finished to that of one I’m about to start. It’s probably a while since I put one down and picked another up in one sitting, though. #books #reading

All lined up for their parts in this #editing Christmas office.

I think this may have been the first audiobook I listened to.

I did the song last weekend. The first day of December had taken me by surprise.

Time for a #book tree in my office. #editing

I bought this #book in @kennysbookshop.bsky.social during the summer and took it from the TBR pile today. How lovely to find it has a little bookmark of its own. 💙

Fun explanation of how Ireland votes.

Not sure people realise how hard it's been recently for artists to survive, or how deeply appreciated every single order is. If you can't buy something, it makes a huge difference just to share our work. If you can't share our work, a little sacrifice to the Old Gods on our behalf means a lot, too 💜

Saturday #3goodthings with a theme of opportunity: 1. A little beech tree that took root among other trees in our garden and is a splash of colour right now 2. A scattering of opportunists I only noticed today 3. Snow angel of a teen, captured before Storm Bert washed it away

It was too!

😊

Have you met @george-station-cat.bsky.social, @roisinm.bsky.social?

Friday morning #3goodthings 1. Shortbread cookies baked at the request of the big girl 2. A couple of days with said big girl safely home from university and work 3. Cats, this time Alfie with his paws tucked in
