Tried playing around with long exposure #photography by taking some photos of @wmata.com trains today. I think they turned out okay, although I could have chosen my focus point better + stayed more still (less shaking). Shutter speeds ranged from 1/10s to 1/4s.

Opinions like these confuse me. Just because you have a car doesn't mean everyone else has a car or wants to drive. Also, what traffic? If you're talking about crossings, surely you can wait an extra minute... In any case, trains — and public transit in general — take people off the road.

If you give a shit about urban planning and transit you should expect no funding from the feds for the next 4 years and you should entirely focus your advocacy on state & local politicians. You should also try to build community as best as you can to save people from rightwing media
