I've been thinking a lot about AI the past year or so and I am growing increasingly firm in my belief that I basically hate it. I do not want to read an AI-written email newsletter or use an AI-generated summary. Education is a human domain and there is something so inhuman about generative AI.

Well #Soane25 did not disappoint! Huge thanks to @michaeldoron.bsky.social @jacobolivey.bsky.social and the team at Ark Soane for a wonderful day.

It's quite something when Eamon Duffy is only one highlight of a conference! Terrific day at #Soane25. Brilliant work from the history team there once again.

If you're interested in using 'takeaways' for planning the original article is here. We developed the idea to create coherence across KS3 - what did we want students to take away and use again later in KS3, both content and conceptual understandings? thinkinghistory.co.uk/Issues/Curri...

Looking forward to the AI revolution in schools 👍

With just 2 days left before the box office for the SHP Developing Teachers' Conference closes, there is just enough time to give you a wonderful free sample of our previous conferences: @iandawson51.bsky.social on developing students' chronological understanding www.youtube.com/live/r1jwfnU... ...

Kids now need what kids have always needed: a strong grounding in the knowledge and skills of humanities, sciences and creative arts. Anyone selling ‘jobs of the future’ is a charlatan.
