From the first 2 episodes, I’m liking it. Love its visual creativity and the characters are relatable. You can tell Pixar gave it their all, but the trans erasure is a gaping hole that makes the show feel like it has a missing piece. It’s up to you, but if someone says they won’t watch it, I get it.

If it’s true, I really don’t care who takes her place as the head of Lucasfilm. I stopped caring about Star Wars a while ago and it’s pretty much an impossible task. The fanbase is broken beyond repair and made it impossible for me to enjoy it anymore.
