The UK supreme court just single-handedly overturned most trans rights in the UK today. Very disturbingly, the ruling also opens a clear pathway for TERFs to completely push trans people out of public life. This one ruling pushes trans rights in the UK back at least 25 years. It's horrible

This. Protect trans kids. Protect trans rights. Gender is a spectrum. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Non-binary people exist. Inter-sex & DSD people exist. Gender-non-conforming people exist. Transphobia is anti-feminist. Laws are often wrong and unjust. We must fight for a fairer future.

I went for a walk and thought I might catch the start of the bad weather but it was warm in bright sunshine the whole way. Felt like summer! Some meadows were full of soft purple cuckoo flowers/mayflowers. Most broom was in bloom. Lots of rapeseed along the canal. All photos: flic.kr/s/aHBqjC93XM

To be clear: it's necessary to get them cited because otherwise incidents become custom and the sport will suffer. But spitting or throwing beer is hardly violent and a warning+record for a first offender is appropriate IMO. Don't be José De Cauwer "throw them in jail for 10 years!!"
