So, insurance companies must be starting to lower premiums if there is no increased climate risk

Two nights ago I was having a whiskey in a sports bar in Yerington, NV, after 8 days of fieldwork, next to a 32 year old guy making $250k/yr managing cell tower installation. Made me question a lot...

1. I asked myself, how did I get here? 2. I asked myself, how do I work this? 3. I asked myself, where is that large automobile? 4. I told myself, this is not my beautiful house. 5. And I told myself, this is not my beautiful wife. (Credit, Talking Heads)

It's like if the entire US had the same approach to public lands as Texas. Which is horrible.

It's a drastically different tone than NYT articles from the Obama years.

The US leads the world in geothermal power generation, and there is a lot more to do to get more electrons on the grid (not just a 'local' resource). Frontier projects like super hot rock (>374C), deep sedimentary aquifers, and EGS are all areas of active research. CNN may not be the best source.

Yes, cornmeal, whole wheat, bleached.
