Your friendly reminder that Harvard's endowment is larger than the GDP of 120 countries. If they can't use it to protect their integrity and mission, what is even the point of having an endowment? www.nytimes.com/2025/04/14/u...

I’ve just posted this video message to members of the DC Bar, urging them to vote *AGAINST* AG Pam Bondi’s brother to be its next president. Please pass this on to anyone who is eligible to vote. www.instagram.com/reel/DIcQFxt...

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even tacitly take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon all the apparatus and you've got to make it stop."

"To have a hope of combating the end times fascists....we will need to build an unruly open-hearted movement of the Earth-loving faithful: faithful to this planet, its people, its creatures and to the possibility of a livable future for us all. Faithful to here."

BREAKING: 36k people showed up in LA for Bernie and AOC’s rally. In the off year. Americans are pissed — and anyone ignoring that is making a big mistake.

🧵 We're extremely concerned DOGE has gained access to data that would help them target farmworkers & organizations serving them. Please help us spread the word in your communities. 🚨 Here's what we know.

“The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.” — James Madison, The Federalist No. 47

A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die. Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.

Anyone else out there tired of members of this administration telling us what Americans think? We'll speak for ourselves, thank you.

I missed this news from earlier this week. www.cnn.com/2025/04/02/s...

Somebody who has more followers than I do should start a thread where people who protested for the first time yesterday say why they came out and what their experience was like. @aoc.bsky.social @pronounced-ing.bsky.social ? @meidastouch.com ?

A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.

I know several people who came out yesterday who never protested before. That it was peaceful and joyful will encourage them to come back. I also know people who really wanted to come out but couldn't because they were sick, or had family obligations, or found out too late. This is a movement.

How's that capitulation working out for you?

West Coast numbers are coming in, and estimates have now surpassed 5 million. People are still pouring into the streets—nearly 2% of the American population is rising up. America, we are so proud of you. You did it.
