when I was younger I thought the subplot of Ender’s Game in which Ender’s siblings shitpost themselves into running the world was the least realistic part of the book I am coming around to the idea that it was by far the most realistic

"AI" is, purely, a marketing term and a (poor) umbrella phrase for a number of different types of computerized statistical analysis, iteration and synthesis. If something is being touted as "AI" to me, it's because someone wants me to buy it, and also I probably don't need it.

The Google AI results at the top of searches are so pointless. We have a resource (the internet!) that knows everything, and instead of going to the source, it's like you asked your stupid cousin who is trying to recall the information from a podcast he heard last week.

I don't get why everyone is freaking out over Trump saying "LONG LIVE THE KING!". We don't know the context here. Maybe he was eating Burger King when he wrote this. He could have been listening to Elvis, or reading King Lear. Stop jumping to the most logical conclusion right away.
