⚡️ Russia wants to buy Boeing planes using frozen assets after a ceasefire, Bloomberg reports.

This is something. The two sets of fans, from two rival Lithuanian teams, chanting for Ukraine in tandem, each answering the other.

Example of tendentious writing about Russia at the Financial Times, exhibit 10,572.

It is a well-known fact that international sports officialdom is a universe of corrupt and dishonourable practices. Whether it's the IOC, or FIFA, or UEFA, or fencing, examples abound since 2022 of decent athletes, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine, standing up to morally decadent officials.

Good Lord, that's almost 12 euros. Best ban those flights right away.

On a lighter note, a parody of both Lex Fridman and Douglas Murray. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JE09...

Excellent work by Steve Rosenberg here. As his press review shows, Russian elites are absolutely delighted by America's new direction. Trump is giving Russia what Soviet strategists could only dream about during the Cold War. And it's not old Western hawks saying it. It's Russians saying it.

Happy to talk with @warontherocks.bsky.social's Rick Landgraf about my recent article on an Anglo-French Eurodeterrent: warontherocks.com/2025/03/euro...

Another masterful piece of essential reading by @justin-br0nk.bsky.social and Jack Watling.

This needs to be condemned publicly by European leaders. Enough with the pro-Moscow prostitution of Donald Trump. He needs to be corrected publicly and we should take the consequences. Shake the fucker until he does something so stupid it leads to his downfall. He won't nuke us. He'll just fall.

The age of AI in advertising: - Hey, we detected that you're buying a new dishwasher! - (I'm glad you know...) - Clearly, you want to buy MORE dishwashers! - (No, just the one. Transaction done. Window closed.) - Come on! More dishwashers! - (...)

When running for election, say: "useless leaders from the past expected laid off manufacturing workers to work in services, of course it didn't work" When in power, say:

One more reason to object to Trump's tariffs. They can potentially sink entire countries. It's not me saying it, look:

The only way to solve this problem is to defeat Russia. Inflict such high costs upon the forces of the Russian aggressor state that they lose the will to fight and retreat.

Ballistische Raketen auf einen Kinderspielplatz in Krywyj Rih, ballistische Raketen ins friedliche Stadtzentrum von Sumy. Putins Kriegsverbrechen bleiben bisher ohne Konsequenzen, also macht er weiter. Sanktionen verschärfen, Schiffe blockieren, Taurus liefern, Russen ausweisen!

In-group loyalty fits. Americans voted for a corrupt pro-Russian President. But America can barely discuss it now because its voters, in a fit of national irresponsibility, decided to ignore the information. Twice. As for Witkoff, what do we know about him? How did he make his fortune?

Interesting how Trump buckles under pressure on certain issues, thereby completely contradicting the vision his Cabinet says it has. Surely, Navarro and company would like America to manufacture its own smartphones while caring a lot less about footwear. www.ft.com/content/3eb4...

1-7 An important post re. the American commander of the Pituffik military base in Greenland, Colonel Susan Meyers. Recall she was fired by the Trump regime for "undermining" or "subverting" its agenda. American media helped the regime by selectively quoting her email. But here's the entire email.

Kozak Ukrainian Eatery is more than a successful small business — it’s a pillar of the community here in New Westminster. Thanks to the staff for the warm welcome, and the pastries for the road. #SlavaUkraini

Keith Kellogg was born in 1944. He is a Cold War era thinker. I get it. I'm a product of the Cold War too. But unlike Lt Gen (Retd) Kellogg I was trained (and train others) to think adaptively, progressively and projectively in terms of strategic solutions. This is how I see it. 1/

Absolutely shameful: Witkoff breaks Russian dictator Putin's diplomatic isolation from the Free World. His handshake with the murderous Kremlin tyrant is like a symbol of Washington's abdication of its position as leader of the West.

The Trump plan is a capitulation plan. It's his deepest personality. A fake winner. King of Bling. Prince of Dishonour. Manager of Disorder. Captain of Chaos. Soldier of Derilection.

Stuff General Cornflake, screw Envoy Nutcough, this is a proper peace plan. The Fella Plan.

Interesting

For decades Putin’s Kremlin has fantasised about two things - destroying NATO and ending the primacy of the US dollar. After only 10 weeks back in office Trump is well on the way to delivering both these things. And congressional Republicans, who used to guarantee them, are too cowardly to stop him.

Says the country that actively supports the biggest war of aggression in Europe since 1945. The only way forward for Europe: be strong enough to show all of the foreign great powers the door.

The "Kellogg Plan" - Russia keeps its conquests, UK & France move into the Western half of Ukraine - but not the eastern part. The US contributes nothing - except thieving of resources. America, I don't know whether to call you a harlot or a hyena. Or both. www.thetimes.com/article/9b93...

The Trump effect has been to slash European travel to the United States by about a third as compared to the same time last year (the graphs below are year-on-year change). A huge vote of no confidence in America's current direction, which nobody approves of in any Western country.
