I was in middle school when Twin Peaks came out. I was the weird foreign girl who just moved to the US two years prior and this show and its weirdness SPOKE TO ME. RIP David Lynch whose eerie gauzy sexy vision established a new genre. There would be no X-files, northern exposure, etc. without it.
