My tulip tree is starting to bud. It seems like it gets earlier each year. I can not wait for the blooms, a favorite thing to see, draw, and paint. Watercolor below is from a previous season.

Hotel silver and Persimmons, watercolor. Reflections are always fun to paint; it is reality distorted. We all need our present reality distorted. It's a nightmare.
