Day four. No pictures because I was feeling really sick, actually starting Thursday afternoon. One of the few businesses open was the dive shop, so I went out with them but ended up aborting the dive b/c I did not feel good about it. Not the shop’s fault, though.

Day three. Thursday, May 1. Labor Day, major holiday in many countries. Did I think to check this before leaving? No, no I did not. So I did not visit the African Art Museum or the Museum of Black Civilizations. The African Rennaisance monument ent does not close, so visited that.

I think we’ve reached a boiling point when it comes to ICE. Today in Minneapolis, a militarized task force raided the beloved Lake Street taqueria, Las Cuatro Milpas—and the community was not having it. Agents from ICE, the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS and HHS rolled up looking like they were ready for war.
