After 20 years, the members who worked on Silent Hill 2 got together (the guy, Usagi Tanaka, with glasses on worked on only SH3, tho). Although a couple of them had already left the restaurant, we had a great time together. We all promised to get together again and everyone seemed to be doing well.

Have downloaded quite a few demos for Next Fest on Steam. Maybe it was just me, but a lot of the horror demos all seemed to look a lot alike. Gonna try and go live after work and look through some of the demos, see if anything actually stands out.

Been away from streaming the last week. Lots of health drama for all of us in the house lately. We're good, just very tired. Picking up doing my yoga this week to prevent atrophy in my back (it's happened before). Hoping to get to a good place to get back to streams. I do miss them.

In the Silent Hill 2 Remake, you can see a mark caused by the scissors' open/close at the around of the scissors pivot. The Pyramid Head model sculptor, Pablo_san in the Bloober team, took the hint & added it to the texture, even though I didn't ask him to do it. Thanks to him! (See the 3rd image)

Had a nasty long covid flare up today. Massive headache and extreme body chills without a fever. Basically have slept all day, but simply getting up to walk feels like climbing a mountain. This doesn't happen as often as it did, but when it hits, it hits hard.

Been trying my hand at new crafty venture with crocheting. My first real attempt at a small blanket for the kitties. It's def got a lot of flaws, and currently waiting to see if it survives washing/drying. But I did it, and that's what matters.

Some in-game model images of Otherworld Elementary School from a PS1 era title "Silent Hill", which I designed & modeled back then. Rendered in a 3DCG app Softimage 3D that we used for the development. One of the reasons I used the metal-mesh corridor was that the texture was useful for repeating.

Right: Some grey Faber Castell's water-based colored pencils to use for drawing & applying weatherings to solid models. Left: The Harry & little Heather's backs walking hand in hand. The background stroke effect (& so on), I drew them w/ the pencils mixing with an acrylic medium.

Over here about to lose my shit with my pharmacy. Needing meds for a progressively getting worse sinus infection. First they stopped the scripts because of insurance issues BUT DIDN'T CONTACT ME. Now, with less than 2 hours left of them being open, the script is "delayed"
