What does this mean? That the medical privacy of trans youth has no protections. That ideologues in hospitals can play politics with kids personal medical data and there will be no consequences. That trans Americans are second class citizens.

Mike Johnson including this in the rules package makes me believe he’s got the votes and that Republicans will indeed be moving forward to ban Sarah McBride from the bathroom. Republicans are handing framing on transgender rights issues to Dems on a silver platter. A colossal overreach.

Politico is reporting Trump will name Dr. Ladapo of Florida to a senior spot, likely Surgeon General or Assistant HHS. This would be a horrifying pick for trans people. He's responsible for Florida's adult trans ban, and works with SEGM/Anti-trans global movement. He's also an ardent anti-vaxxer.
