Radio i use for a bluetooth speaker decided to output low garbled sound. Have zero test gear here so i took a flying guess and tightened the worn out tube sockets with pliers and its playing perfectly again. Yay for dumb luck repairs.

I have realized that my tragedy scale is wildly different than others. Sitting here listening to someone talk about a bad battery in their truck like the world is ending. I'm concerned literally about the world ending. A battery is a 15 minute annoyance at best.

Yay, the 240v outlet that seems to have been used for a window ac once upon a time is still live, and i found the breaker. Need to put it back in service. Central air died, have a big through wall unit, and a hole in the wall. Now to put that all together.
