Bonus "hot take".. all US sports contract $ amounts should be "post tax" contracts. Teams pay the income taxes. That way players don't have to choose between "same money" in different locations based on tax benefits.

His plan all along was to force the ban under his administration so he can point it as how he works to save the privacy of the US. But when it is someone else that would get credit for it, he wants more to time to "negotiate" a way to "save the platform". He'll want to ban it in a few months.
