In just 25 years time all of these places are likely to be underwater and lost forever. There will be large amounts of people displaced by flooding alone and it’s the actions that happen in the next four years that are the most important and @teamlabouruk.bsky.social aren’t listening!

Wherever you live in the world you can zoom in on this map to see the areas that are likely to be under water by 2050. Large parts of the UK will be gone. Lincolnshire and areas to the north of Cambridge are particularly impacted. What Labour don’t do now will impact our children in 25 years time.

So many viruses waiting in the wings but our governments think we can fight against nature. I took a trip to another social media platform last night and it was full of propaganda that climate change didn’t even exist. People were laughing and signing petitions and saying how stupid folks were for 🧵

The elderly are discriminated against if they can’t use a mobile or the internet. If you have vision loss it’s extremely tough to sort out the most basic of banking transactions and many have lost more independence because they rely on family members 🧵

This is such an important article for everyone to read about where we currently are under Labour. We are so far from being in a democracy, very depressing indeed. Maybe it’s already too late for the UK.

Keir Starmer is on course to facilitate the far-right winning not only the next election but he is actively executing far-right policies from the neoliberal playbook. Thread www.theguardian.com/global/comme...

The UK's anti-protest laws pre-legitimise far right authoritarianism. Labour must repeal them now. My column today. www.theguardian.com/global/comme...

“In November 2024, when their son was just two months old, Musk texted St Clair, “I want to knock you up again.” Just a few weeks ago, in early February, Musk told St Clair that the two “have a legion of kids to make.” Read my SCOOP!

I hope @teamlabouruk.bsky.social will be increasing vaccine access as vulnerable are even more at risk with the US regressive approach to health. Viruses will not stay in the US. Labour should consider screening on flights from the US. @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social

Canadians remember when Montana, and especially the First Nations communities, shared their vaccines with us in the early days. We were very grateful. Many of us still are. I hope Montana’s indigenous communities fight this.

Sir James Munby, former head of the Family Division of the High Court, has given his opinion on the supposedly improved Assisted Suicide Bill. His view: "it still falls lamentably short of providing adequate safeguards". transparencyproject.org.uk/assisted-dyi...

How can this not be illegal!

1 yr after a WY man shocked the world by running over a wolf in his snowmobile, carrying her into a rural bar and letting friends snap selfies with her before killing her, state lawmakers are still refusing to ban "whacking" outright. A majority of WY residents want to ban the practice.

It’s perfectly reasonable to suspend elections during wartime - in fact the UK didn't hold elections during World War Two - does Trump think Churchill was a dictator? Polls from last autumn showed that 56% of Ukrainians were against holding elections during the war
