"You think you're paying me for my legal services. What you're actually paying for is all the idiots I had to reject before I got to a sane one."

Hard to disrupt something with market forces that’s been enshrined in law.

My buddy ran a pretty big craft beer company that got bought up by one of the nationals. He used to joke that "if you fuck up the batch, just add more hops; calm it an IPA"

It builds up as you’re driving. This was an issue with the first LED traffic lights, they had to install heaters. The design (recessed area for snow to build up) and LED headlights not outputting enough heat results in this. You can only blame the Tesla driver for buying one.

Reminds me of this by @eladn.bsky.social “So the age of anger has passed. We have now entered the age of exhaustion and, as a result, cynicism. While some have been able to sustain their anger, the vast majority are beginning to tune out.” eladnehorai.substack.com/p/the-second...

In addition: transcoding is done if the requested quality is lower than the source quality. This mostly comes into play when accessing your server remotely on a less than optimal connection, especially on a small device where it matters less.

This Oberlin College sophomore speaks for the entire Democratic Party, meanwhile the Heritage Foundation somehow doesn't speak for the Republican Party despite issuing a policy document they're all following and employing all those guys on their own campaigns

The only gotcha with the 923+ is if you need to transcode with plex/jellyfin, the CPU won’t be up to the task. Otherwise mine has served me very well (including a 32gb third party RAM upgrade) and I direct play all my media from it.
