David Enoch points out in 'Is General Jurisprudence Interesting?' that there are no academic journals that mainly do 'meta-etiquette'. Two thoughts: 1. Weirdly, we don't even have metaethics journals. 2. Have I found my new project title? Meta-etiquette? Metiquette? #philsky

I have a great new 'Deutsche Bahn being comically bad' story for those who celebrate. 2 months ago my train journey from Stockholm to Hamburg went very wrong - I got stuck in Copenhagen overnight and arrived home a day late. I submitted a claim for compensation and reimbursement of hotel costs.

The war in Syria was the first geopolitical development I closely and consciously followed from the start - the Arabic Spring, the protests, the violence, the chemical weapons, the refugees, the rise of ISIS, the effects on politics in Europe. I can't believe Assad is finally but suddenly gone now.

I often dream up quite intense experiences but lately my brain has been gifting me very cosy dreams - living in a house with a big garden in a Swedish village, walking through a shop with pretty trinkets. Last night I simply played Stardew Valley and made a hot chocolate. Thanks, brain!
