What makes me smile: children, animals, all kinds. Butterflies, flowers. All my doggy friends that come running when they see me, to get a treat. 😊 What makes me frown: loud cheering crowds, shrieking adults, people who start every sentence with "So," 🤨

Þrettándinn (The Thirteenth. Last day of Christmas in Icelandic tradition.) After darkness fell we were allowed to burn up all the left over candle stubs, and we would sit in flickering candlelight playing cards, and enjoying what was left of the Christmas cookies.
