Also, you can’t really call it cowardice when it’s really deference to the dollar.
They tried to appeal to the people three times with Lightyear and Strange World at the movies and challenging Ron DeSantis in court but they all failed on that.
All that + Trump coming back made them decide no more.

That’s unfortunate.
Because you’re just playing into their hands of motivating them to go back to laying off more of the Pixar artists that still have a job.
And considering the first 4 episodes I’ve seen so far have made me tune into it enough to make me continue watching it, I’d still support it

Ok. Sorry. Meant to say Filoni is only co-writing the movie with Jon while acting as an EP on it too

Dave’s only writing it

We’ll see if he can get an up in quality in solo work with The Mandalorian and Grogu.

I’d rather Jon and Dave as a duo (one business being Jon and one creative being Dave) like how Peter Safran and James Gunn are running DC Studios at WB

I want this to stop, too.

Then perhaps to make more non-franchise fare do better, we have to keep watching them on a loop. And that’s what I plan to do for Win Or Lose, in the hopes it can get a second season in a few years from now.

A one-off for now, but it may still yet get a sequel, with the Emmy win it has…

Here’s hoping Win Or Lose works.
Chip n Dale’s movie also worked too.

Looks promising, IMO.
More promising than live-action Snow White at least.

Or maybe this movie will be so poor in quality with a lack of strong talent that they’ll maybe learn the right lessons from this.

Don’t like my arguments towards animation reviewers, fine whatever. You guys are the ones ruining artist’s visions and sabotaging successful projects along the way.

Dog Man was good though.

Least this looks like a better movie, given what I saw of it at D23, which was the same teaser at SDCC.
