Driving to the US?!. Think twice!

It's not an "accusation;" it's a fact. Children have been infected with HIV at birth because of DOGE's actions under the leadership of Elon Musk.

For all of you who said such things were now impossible and couldn't happen wapo.st/4kfS7mN

National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health researchers work to protect miners from black lung disease, firefighters from cancer, and workers everywhere from dangerous workplace hazards. Trump is planning to fire 85% of them. Make no mistake: this will cost workers their lives.

Unhappy to confirm that the entire Historical Advisory Committee at the State Department received termination notices this afternoon (myself included). The HAC, set up by Congress, oversees the office that produces the FRUS series. history.state.gov/about/hac/in... 1/

The EU is set to admit that untangling from the dominance of US tech companies is “unrealistic” as fears grow over the bloc’s dependence on American giants.

Britain insisted it would never be forced to choose between the US and China. But as ministers hustle for a carve-out from Donald Trump's tariffs, a string of policy moves suggest the country is starting to pick a side.

«We gave (the Liberals) yet another term. People didn’t choose change. Poilievre lost his own seat. It’s pathetic.»

Interesting: the Department of Justice just filed a sealed motion in the Abrego Garcia case. This comes after both sides agreed to a 7-day pause in discovery after a previous round of sealed motions. No clue what's going on. We'll have to wait and see.

This process is disturbing. It has consequences for fearless access to the courts (how many victims will forgo this right for fear of being arrested?) and means that people will always have to be wary of passers-by, without knowing whether they are part of the political enforcement apparatus.

Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government. No one has heard from you in 43 days. As vigil, I’m posting a photo of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

University leaders need to understand: they are holding INCREDIBLY good cards. It is so rare in today's polarized era to have the support of 70+ percent of the public against the Trump admiministration on anything. Universities have that—AND winning legal arguments.
