He spends some of his best scenes angrily/sadly praying to a merciless and cruel God - so it seemed apt. youtu.be/4isTaYN7i68?...

Starmer now polls well below the worst numbers Corbyn ever posted - and Nigel Farage is leading in the polls. So, even as cynical politics, I feel this project is failing.

I thought Starmer had some promise. He ran on a commitment to work with Jeremy Corbyn and the many people he brought into the party. The he and his team, almost gleefully, aggressively expelled and marginalized all of those people. I felt that exposed a deep cynicism.

I think important context here is that Starmer has been, for some time, stealing policy planks from the Trump-aligned Nigel Farage.
This government is not resisting the Trumpist agenda. They are adopting it.

Many people in Europe, in fact in Starmer's own party, are calling for wealth taxes. Presumably, they know how people are taxed on the continent.

Anyone who isn't part of media elite and has met Paul Wells all agree he is an empty suit.
Vacuos to the core.
You have Wells number down pat thanks for this post!
As for Pierre similar to. He's an asshole, he just likes adoration.

Paul Wells is the most overated journalist in Canada. He is the beige lampshade in the stenographer lunch room.

Kathleen Wynne loosened the rules so she could make more partisan ads and Ford, after promising to change the rule back, has exploited them to the max instead.

CBC even both-sides arguments about defunding the CBC. They routinely platform people like Andrew Coyne who vocally call for the destruction of public broadcasting. Their leadership is, by design, feckless and clueless which makes it hard, verging on impossible, to defend the CBC.

Alberta sucks proudly and aggressively. They choose to be garbage. Ontario just drifts into it, while still thinking they’re superior and smart. To me, that’s worse.

I recently learned that "LOL" was also the abbreviation used by the Loyal Orange Lodges.
So that works in multiple ways.

But I also (a) don't want other people here seeing and saying racist shit (b) would love for you to realize that being a racist shithead is not a good way to live your life.

Sorry. In my attempt to give you the benefit of the doubt I maybe wasn't clear.
That comment is bigoted and your response is also bigoted. Delete them. Don't try to defend them.

Trump is substantively worse than Harris on a number of policy fronts, but not this one.
The differences, such as they are, have been rhetorical. If you can point to a substantive difference, I'd welcome that.

If you actually want your party to do better, I would suggest that you direct your scorn to people who facilitated genocide in your party, and not the people who objected to it.

Biden's announcement, which you keep touting, was actually facilitated by Trump's envoy - as reported by Israeli media.

Biden, as has been pointed out here repeatedly, did not end the conflict - and enabled Nethanyahu to extend it by offering billions in unconditional assistance as well as providing cover at the UN.
