NEW: Alaska Airlines will launch 3 new routes from San Diego (SAN): • SAN to Phoenix (PHX) starting August 20 • SAN to Chicago (ORD) starting October 4 • SAN to Denver (DEN) starting October 4 Each route will operate 3x daily primarily using 737 MAX 9 aircraft.

2025-03-07: Cathay Pacific Cargo Boeing 747-800F (B-LJG, *2012) made a heavy landing short of the touchdown zone, followed by a bounce + a nosegear-first 2nd touchdown on runway 20 at Guadalajara-Intl(MMGL), Mexico. Flight #CX97 from Mexico City completed the landing safely and resumed normal ops.

New York LaGuardia (LGA) is getting its first new airline since 2017. Porter Airlines announces it will begin flying from Toronto (YYZ) to LGA starting May 1. Flights will operate 20x weekly using the new Embraer E195-E2.
