I’m really enjoying Avowed so far. I would say my favourite part is the ability to shoot a wizard in the head with a rifle from 250 feet away.

The big tell that Graun interview with Esther Ghey isn't on the level is that it doesn't once mention these kids were 12-13 during the pandemic. To go on about internet addiction without mentioning there was a global event driving everyone online is a teensy bit disingenuous.

Like, how in God's name is this going to be more reliable and cost effective than the drugs? Comedy's the most subjective thing in the world. Maybe this is a failure of credulity of my part, but I can't see a world where this provides better outcomes than Sertraline or whatever.

I agree with the gist of this, but I couldn't help but recall that the answers to the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 are ranked out of *3* and the CORE-OM is ranked out of *4*. So much treatment is based upon self-reporting which looks banal in isolation.

One pattern I noticed: a lot of people seeking diagnoses as adults *did* have clear markers as children, but further investigation at the time was obstructed by parents who didn't want a stigmatised child, or by a professional with an axe to grind.
