J and I are going to look at a completely ridiculously overpriced house not terribly far east of here. It’s 890k, and was last sold in December 2023 for $300k. They did upgrades and added a second story, but it’s still ABSURD for this area. Ideas for jobs we can make up ala house hunters?

Among my regular passengers on the 44 are two young boys who ride with their grandma from California and 6th Ave all the way to Silver and Palou. The older brother is possibly a 2nd grader. Last night as they were getting off my bus, he handed me this hand made envelope.

Midwestern and Southern friends: Does “yeah, no” mean no to you? And does “no, yeah” mean yes to you? I’m from Michigan, J is from Georgia. She now tends to use them in the midwestern way (I think), but I’m not sure if other areas of the country say this.
