This is Utah in case anyone’s wondering how pissed off people are. I have never seen anything like this.

What we're seeing at #handsoff protests nationwide today and what we saw at the ballot box on Tuesday are not unrelated. The public is furious. It will not be silenced. And those who side with Trump and Musk—or refuse to fight back—will be swept out of office.

We need new leaders in Washington. I’m running for Senate to be one. Let’s go.

The most obvious lesson to draw from the leaked Signal chat is that these people really are morons. It's not a public act, it's not a schtick, there's not some secret back room where they drop the facade. They are genuinely stupid, incompetent people.

Cory Booker has been holding the Senate floor for *15 hours* to call out Trump’s harm to Americans. More of this energy from every Democrat please.

“He’s trying to bribe voters," @benwikler.bsky.social told me in Kenosha about Musk's scheme to give out $1 million to voters in Wisconsin. "He’s trying to buy an election. This is totally out of line. This should not be how American democracy works.” www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

This is all a good reminder that, “no help, no votes until the criminal conduct stops” is neither a big ask nor a politically perilous one.

Behold: My unified Terminator Theory of parenting through the Trump Era into the apocalypse he has created for our children. ...I'm serious you guys, I wrote a whole thing on parenting through this nightmare. My latest in @thenation.com

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out. This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

The Inspectors General refuse to leave until the action is taken legally, which they do not believe it was, and neither do senators like Chuck Grassley. This is what not backing down looks like. static.politico.com/b3/3e/5baf92...

I’ll never get over that all of this was avoidable and our kids could’ve had a better future had voters just made the obviously rational choice in November. It’s water under the bridge now. But what the fuck, people.

I am absolutely heartbroken for all the incoming 2025 JDs who are now being told their offers are rescinded. Is cruelty just the point now? abovethelaw.com/2025/01/trum...
