Are we better off now than last year? Last year, employees were earning $600-800/wk at Taco Bell. Today, with fifteen years in maintenance and construction, I would be lucky to find a job that pays $800/wk. Last year, rent for my 3 bed, 2 bath house was $1400/month.

This is why tariffs will kill us. We are going to lose $63,000,000,000 every year until these tariffs are erased, and Canada now stands to see that in a surplus, provided that they can procure equivalent goods elsewhere. Perhaps Africa will see a major agriculture boom in the next four years.
